Phillip (Phil) Verry

Eros Capital was founded by the late Phil Verry, who served as executive chairman of Waipa Corporation Ltd and Red Stag Timber Ltd from 2006 until April 2009. He was a former senior partner in the Wellington office of the business services firm now known as PriceWaterhouse Coopers and was the inaugural chairman of NZ Wood Innovations (Asia) Inc. He has had extensive entrepreneurial and board experience, including as a director of New Zealand Wool Board. Phil has also devoted a considerable amount of time and resources to developing the Interest Linked Savings Scheme (ILSS) , which is a technically robust solution designed to provide effective methodology for the operation of Reserve Bank monetary policy. This policy has been developed with a view to fostering greater economic growth in New Zealand. Phil 's commitment and determination has ensured that Eros is positioned well to create a strong and succesful future for the company, befitting of his memory.

Martin (Marty) Verry - Director and Executive Chairman

Marty Verry, co-founder and executive chairman of Txt2Get Ltd, a mobile phone text marketing technology startup and also co-founder and managing director of iStart Ltd , Auckland, New Zealand's information hub on using IT and e-commerce to improve the conduct of business. Marty is also a director of Waipa Corporation Ltd and Red Stag Timber Ltd . He has extensive professional and commercial entrepreneurial experience, including in finance, marketing and publicity. He is on the boards of the two national organisations that represent the forestry and wood processing industries, NZ Wood Council and Wood Processors Association of NZ.

Mark Rawson - General Manager

Mark has experience in both the public and private sectors, moving to EROS Capital Ltd from the role of General Manager, Destination Rotorua Economic Development . Mark has held a number of management and governance positions including national executive member of the Economic Development Association of NZ, Chairman of Film Volcanic, Director of NZ BIZ Networks Ltd and executive member of Rotorua Chamber of Commerce. Mark has a well developed understanding of the New Zealand business environment, and an established public and private sector network both within New Zealand and off-shore.
